Huss Fahmy
Executive Vice President, Football
Huss Fahmy serves as Executive Vice President, Football for Kilmer Sports Ventures (KSV).
Prior to co-founding RFG, Huss Fahmy worked for Arsenal Football Club between 2017 and 2022 to help oversee their period of material transition. In his role as Director of Football Operations and as a member of the clubs Executive Team and Football Leadership Group, he oversaw the modernisation of all football operations and administration including all player and head coach negotiations, and devised club trading strategies to positively impact the overall wage-to-revenue ratio as well as intra contract performance variability conditions. He was also responsible for creating and executing the clubs first, and very successful, transition and loan management team and was the Executive responsible for creating the synergy between the Academy, First Team, and Arsenal Women’s sporting development programmes. Huss held key institutional relations roles on behalf of the club, including sitting on the Premier League’s Sporting Director Committee and the European Cubs Association Competition Committee. In his position as an Executive Team member, Huss’s role included sitting on Arsenal’s Capital Expenditure, club-wide headcount, and special projects committee, as well as across the organizational change and strategy plan.
Before Arsenal, Huss was Director of Commercial and Business Affairs at Tour Racing Limited (“Team Sky” and now “Team INEOS”) from 2014 to 2017. He was instrumental in steering the high-profile cycling project, overseeing all rider contracts, commercial partnerships and legal and governance affairs for shareholders Sky and NewsCorp (and later 21st Century Fox).
Between 2010 and 2014, Huss worked for Sky Sports, the sports division of European Broadcaster Sky, where he was responsible for end-to-end negotiation for all sports broadcast rights with major rights holders (including, UEFA, Premier League, Formula 1, England & Wales Cricket Board, Augusta National Golf Club, NFL and Cricket Australia) and on-screen talent across Sky’s multi-platform services.
Huss began his career at international law firm Herbert Smith LLP (now Herbert Smith Freehills). Huss remains a Solicitor and a Director of the British Association for Sport and Law, as well as being a co-founding mentor of the social enterprise, Diversity in the Business of Sport, providing mentoring, insight, and opportunities for underrepresented minority groups in sport.
