Larry Tanenbaum, O.C., Chairman and CEO, Kilmer Van Nostrand Co. Limited (“Kilmer Group”), is pleased to announce the appointment of Tom Kornya to President. Mr. Kornya will be assuming the role from Michael Griffiths who, after 45 years with Kilmer, including the last 25 years as President and COO, will move to the position of Vice Chair.

Mr. Kornya brings a wealth of experience and leadership to this role, having spent over two decades with Ernst & Young in senior executive positions. He has advised the firm’s largest global clients across various industries, including private, public, and government sectors, on capital markets activities, navigating regulatory environments and driving organizational success in complex and dynamic markets. Mr. Kornya is a Chartered Professional Accountant (Fellow) and serves as a volunteer Board Member for Sinai Health, contributing his insights and leadership to advance healthcare in Ontario. His appointment is effective March 1, 2025.
