Kilmer Van Nostrand (“KVN”) acquired by Tanenbaum family.
1960s

Diversified construction company and ready mixed concrete producer serving the Toronto area.
1970s

General contractor performing major civil works.
Constructed portions of subways systems in Toronto, Atlanta and Caracas.
Acquisition of Warren Paving and Materials Group, “Warren”.
1980s

KVN begins private equity investing for its own account in electronics manufacturing and media properties.
Development of Warren into largest national asphalt and aggregates platform.
1990s

Began investing in Toronto Maple Leafs, and led the initiative to acquire Toronto Raptors and Air Canada Centre, creating Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment.
Formalized equity investing through Kilmer Capital Partners (“KCP”).
2000s

December 2000, merged Warren with Lafarge NA becoming its 2nd largest shareholder.
KCP investments in Vansco, Give & Go, McGregor, Coalision, Altasciences.
Launched Kilmer Brownfield real estate group and Kilmer Developments.
2010s

Investments in Compact Power, Atelka, Chaleur, Five Guys, Blaze Pizza, Coca-Cola Bottling.
Infrastructure & Real Estate developments including: Prince Rupert, Onroute, Pan Am Village, Billy Bishop Airport, Canary District, West Don Lands, Brightwater at Port Credit.
2020s

Continued focus on three verticals:
1. Sports & Entertainment;
2. Canadian Enterprise (Coca-Cola Bottling and Kilmer Forestry);
3. Real Estate & Infrastructure.
Surpassed the milestone of 10,000 homes completed or in progress.
