Today, Coke Canada Bottling CEO Todd Parsons, together with the company’s owners, announced that
well-respected and seasoned food and beverage industry leader Tony Chow will be assuming the role of
President of Coke Canada Bottling, effective April 28. The news follows the announcement earlier this
year that current President, Stephen du Toit, will be stepping down from his position to begin a new
chapter of his career which will include contributing his extensive global Coca-Cola system experience
and extensive knowledge and relationships to the long-term success of Coke Canada Bottling by sitting
on the company’s board.
Tony is joining Coke Canada Bottling from Kellanova Canada, where he was most recently president and a
member of the Kellanova North American Leadership Team. In that role, he was responsible for the
successful transformation of Kellogg Canada into two new companies and steering Kellanova Canada’s
new vision, culture and strategic direction which is focused on growth and building a diversified portfolio
including snacks and natural/organic categories. Prior to that he led the Kashi Company in the USA for
several years during which time he successfully turned around the business.
“Tony’s passion for people and extensive experience in successfully leading businesses through
transformation into growth organizations will help us ignite our growth and enable our Mission to deliver
optimism and create a better future for our customers, consumers and communities as we aim to Be the
Leading Beverage Partner in Canada,” said Todd.
A long-time employee within the Coca-Cola System, Stephen du Toit held several successive roles in the
Middle East and Eastern Europe before joining Coca-Cola Refreshments in Canada in 2011. In 2018, when
Coke Canada became a family-owned business, he joined the new company’s executive team. As COO
and then as President, he has helped lead the company through its successful transformation into an
independent bottler.
Todd added, “we are very grateful for everything Stephen du Toit has done to help transform our
business and build a solid foundation for growth for many years to come. I look forward to continuing to
work with him on our board of directors.”
